This book gets an 8.5/10, because, while it wasn't my favorite I've ever read, it is filled with amazing representation, romance, and humor.

After problems arise, Noah Byrd transfers to a new high school with a mission. What better way to prove you are a boy than by becoming a member of the Borrow a Boyfriend club? But with the club president Asher's challenging trials, and Noah's own internal battles, being the perfect boy might be harder than he thought.

This is such a relatable and under-discussed occurrence when it comes to the trans community, and Page Powars handles it wonderfully. So often it is easy to feel as though you aren't sporty enough, masculine enough, etc. which makes it difficult to accept who you are. But this book shows that contrary to his beliefs, Noah really only needs to convince himself he's enough.

Additionally, the romance is down-to-earth, occasionally cringe-worthy but still realistic! There are loads of loveable characters, and even the struggles of dealing with a legal name change.

This book gets an 8.5/10, because, while it wasn't my favorite I've ever read, it is filled with amazing representation, romance, and humor. A lovely quick read for anyone looking to feel seen.
